Welcome to Michael’s Ministry
A national nonprofit outreach program designed to help those in need.
Founded in 2020, Michael’s Ministry has been bringing Jesus and hope to people through acts of aiding people with necessities in their lives. Through acts of compassion in the name of Jesus, we bring the body of Christ together and help strengthen people’s faith in Christ.
Michael’s Ministry performs multiple functions. If applicable and if possible, people in dire circumstances are provided with solutions to their problems or to help at least remedy or ease the burden of a problem. These problems range from people who are homeless, facing homelessness, medical issues, need clothing, food, trying to avoid violence or abuse from a person, negotiating peace and finding a reasonable resolve between people who are having a dispute, and in some cases, more personal, esoteric, or idiosyncratic issues that that people have that need attending to.
There are a variety of ways Michael’s Ministry functions and comes into contact with helping people. The way Michael’s Ministry first started was from being a mobile outreach program that traveled from city to city and town to town around America, meeting many people with all sorts of different kinds of problems. The mobile outreach program had nearly every adult shoe size, underwear size and sock size and clothing size on hand for anybody who was in an emergency and desperately needed that article of clothing. The outreach program has offered a mobile shower set up to shower people who needed a shower. Some people who have had unfortunate “accidents” in their only pair of shorts of pants have been washed clean and handed new clothes in their emergency situation for sanitation. Clipping people’s toenails is also a service provided. Many homeless people suffer from large funguses that grow on their toe nails. The ministry has high-grade nail clippers that are capable of cutting through these toe nails so these people can finally get relief and fit their shoes on normally. The clippers are sanitized after every use.
Sometimes someone wants spiritual guidance and encouragement. Sometimes people want to learn and talk about Jesus Christ or they have theological questions and the ministry provides help to people who need this kind of help.
Relationships have been formed with homeless populations and encampments around the country, along with many other people who were not homeless, who needed assistance and help with something in their lives. Trust was built and a national community started to form around the trust of the ministry. People now contact and stay in touch with Michael’s Ministry and now caring people provide the ministry with information about people in situations who need help, so the outreach program can better assist people.
Michael’s Ministry has helped people in humanitarian crises, like the the people of Lake Charles, Louisiana after a series of hurricanes hit them in 2020, or the people in Mayfield Kentucky after a tornado blew threw their town in 2021.
